Moore Commits to Play Lacrosse at Oglethorpe

The men's lacrosse program is pleased to announce the signing of Connor Moore, a midfielder from West Forsyth High School, who will join the squad this fall.
Lacrosse Hangs Tough, But Falls to Sewanee

The men's lacrosse team hung tough with Sewanee on Salamone Field on Friday afternoon before ultimately losing by the score of 13-5. The Tigers entered the day with the 3rd best record in the SCAC and raced out to a 7-1 lead. From there the Petrels battled hard, and scored even with the Tigers 2-2 in the 4th quarter.
Hawks Nip Petrels on Salamone Field

For the thrid straight game the men's lacrosse team saw a first quarter lead evaporate as the Huntingdon Hawks rallied to top the Petrels 14-10 on Wednesday afternoon. Like they had against Rhodes and Millsaps last weekend, the Petrels jumped on top but could not hold the lead.
