The women's tennis team advanced to the SCAC Tournament quarterfinals for the first time in five years by topping Hendrix in Little Rock on Friday, 5-4. The Petrels were stopped later in the day in the quarters by No. 1 seeded DePauw, 9-0.

Howell Selected to Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame
Peter Howell, Oglethorpe University assistant athletics director and head men’s and women’s tennis coach, has been selected for induction into the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame. Founded by the Georgia Tennis Association, the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame honors those whose excellence both on and off the tennis courts have brought recognition and esteem to themselves and tennis in Georgia.
